We built VectorLingo because we couldn't find software that actually understood the translation business — not project management retrofitted with a quote module, not a spreadsheet with prettier columns.

- What CAT tools do you support?
- Phrase TMS and Trados Cloud both have connected two-way integrations — project sync plus automatic CAT analysis import with word-count pricing. memoQ supports file-based analysis import today: upload your analysis files and VectorLingo parses the word counts automatically. A deep memoQ integration is on the roadmap.
- How long does it take to set up?
- Setup is adding your clients and vendors, setting your rate cards, and optionally connecting Phrase TMS or Trados Cloud. There is no implementation project and no onboarding consultant.
- Can I import existing clients and vendors?
- Yes. VectorLingo imports clients and vendors from CSV or Excel, including contact details, language pairs and vendor default rates. If you've been running on spreadsheets, one import gets you current. Our team can help if you have a large database.
- Is there a minimum contract?
- No minimum contract and no lock-in. The Free plan needs no credit card. Paid plans (Freelancer and Agency) start with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required — then monthly billing (cancel any time) or annual billing (save 20%).
- How is the Agency price calculated?
- Agency plans are priced per user per month, in the currency you choose at checkout — see the pricing table for current rates. Vendor portal access for your freelancers is included at no extra cost — they don't need paid seats.
- What happens after the 30-day trial on a paid plan?
- If a payment method is on file when your trial ends, your subscription begins and the first payment is taken automatically. If not, your account pauses — your data is retained for 30 days so you can export or reactivate. Nothing is deleted without notice.
- Is my data secure?
- Your primary database and uploaded files are stored in the EU (Frankfurt), encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS. The application is delivered through a global edge network, and some supporting services operate outside the EU — these are listed in our Data Processing Agreement. We run scheduled daily backups and enforce tenant isolation with row-level security in the database. Our Data Processing Agreement is at vectorlingo.com/legal/dpa.
